Wheel Profile Gauge for 10¼" Gauge

Laser cut from stainless steel to the 10¼" Gauge Society 'Coarse' Standards - to suit 9½" gauge back to back. This is the commercial wheel standard use by many railways throughout the UK.

Two types of profile gauge available:

1. Wheel & Back to Back Gauge - Two wheel profiles set at the correct back to back measurement. One side can be placed over wheelsets to check for wear or poor profile, the other side can be used to check trackwork for conformity to standards. Weight 0.35kg

2. Single Wheel only - a cut out profile of a single wheel, to be used to check wheel profiles when remachining. Weight 0.06kg
