45mm gauge model of the ubiquitous Simplex diesel locomotive, as seen on narrow gauge railways throughout the world. This is the later plate frame variant, we believe assembled from an IP Engineering kit.
Mixed brass and whitemetal construction, power is through two AAA batteries mounted underneath (batteries not included).
We have loosely assembled the loco for some photos but it arrived with us with the bonnet, driver and several white metal detailing pieces (e.g. radiator) detached. It therefore requires some sympathetic restoration/reassembly.
