An 0-4-4T steam locomotive, modelled on the Single Fairlie type locomotive 'Taliesin' which lives on the Ffestiniog Railway in North Wales. Built by R. Plummer and P. Dugdale for the Orchard Farm Lakeside Railway in Yorkshire around 2007. When built she had a flash steam boiler, with which trial runs proved unsuccessful. She was then sent to Great Northern Steam Ltd to be rebuilt with a conventional boiler; unfortunately this work was unfinished when GNS went into liquidation.
The loco is offered as needing a complete rebuild/restoration and comprises the following parts:
Power bogie with original cylinders
Frame with rear bogie
Tanks, cab and bunker
Part machined replacement cylinders (blocks and valve chests) - plus the originals (you won't want to use them)
Unused boiler constructed by GNS - with drawings and material certificates
